Andys Rebel Songbird
(or just Songbird as she's known around here)
6-year-old Registered Appaloosa mare with a pedigree to drool over.
Top side she's in a direct line from Billie Bright and Bright Eyes Brother
On the bottom side, she goes back to War Don, War Admiral and Man O War!
Her 2007 colt was little Tuck, pictured on the 'Recently Sold' page. Other photos can be found here. She's gentle and sweet and has been started under saddle. She is also one of those delightful mares who is content to let you handle her babies from the first moment.
We left her open for training and riding this past year, but she can be bred back to Skips Paradize this May if desired. (See his photo and pedigree under our 'Photo Gallery' tab.)
Why are we selling her? Good question! But we promised ourselves we would never get back to the point of too many mares and we're at that point, so someone has to go. We chose Songbird because she's the youngest and will make someone a wonderful broodmare for many, many years.

"Roanie" is a tough cow horse who will easily carry my 6'3" husband all day working cows. He's extremely smart and he needs a real job to do, such as a working ranch provides, as he would never be content in an arena.
He's done lots of cow work, trail rides, taken many hunting trips and been packed on. He loads, trailers, shoes and stands perfectly.
He requires more of an experienced rider than a novice as he likes to move and GO and could use some fine tuning.
